Create »TIN, VAT, and fields on a Philippines invoice
A clear draft usually shows supplier name and address, TIN, a unique invoice number, date, customer details (and customer TIN when required), description of goods or services, VAT at 12% when applicable, and the total in PHP. Enter TIN under From and adjust Taxes for zero-rated or exempt supplies — do not invent a rate if you are not VAT-registered.
Keep your trading or registered name consistent on From and payment details. Confirm BIR registration rules and official invoicing channels that apply to your business type before treating a PDF as your only record.
PHP payment details Filipino clients expect
Many domestic clients pay by bank transfer (local account name and number) or digital wallets such as GCash and Maya. Put one primary method on the PDF — bank details and/or wallet ID — and ask the client to use your invoice number as the payment reference so remittances are easy to match.
State due dates and Net 14 / Net 30 (or custom) terms clearly. Card links or PayPal help some overseas clients, but local freelancers and SMEs still settle most PHP bills via bank deposit or e-wallet.
Freelancers, SMEs, and common PH tax setups
Freelancers, BPO-adjacent contractors, creatives, and retail/service SMEs can all use the same editor. What changes is whether you are VAT-registered, non-VAT, or subject to other BIR regimes — pick a VAT or no-VAT featured layout so the PDF matches how you actually bill.
Agencies and corporates often ask for TIN on both sides of the transaction for vendor onboarding. If you are not VAT-registered, clear tax lines rather than showing a decorative 0% VAT amount, and verify current BIR guidance for your registration.
From Philippine estimate or quote to invoice
Many freelancers and agencies send an estimate or quote first, agree scope, then invoice on completion or milestones. Create the proposal under Philippines Estimates or Quotes (same PHP defaults), then convert or copy the agreed lines into an invoice when work starts or finishes.
Keep numbering series separate (EST / QUO / INV) so bookkeepers can tell proposals from invoices. If VAT applies only on the final bill, leave tax off the quote and add VAT when you invoice.
Philippines compliance note
This tool creates editable client PDFs for billing and your own records. It does not replace BIR official e-invoicing, eFPS, or any authorized filing channel, and it is not tax or legal advice. Always confirm current BIR rules (or your accountant) for VAT, TIN display, and record-keeping that apply to you.

Invoice FAQ
Is this Philippines invoice generator free?
Yes. Create and download invoice PDFs for free with no signup required.
Is the PDF an official e-invoice or tax filing?
No. This tool creates editable client PDF drafts. When your market requires structured e-invoicing or a tax portal, use the mandated channel and treat this PDF as a draft or annex.
Can I customize the invoice?
Yes. Edit labels, add your logo, change currency, and adjust line items before downloading the PDF.
What VAT rate does the Philippines use?
The standard VAT rate is 12%. Some supplies may be zero-rated or exempt — adjust the tax line in Taxes before sending and confirm BIR rules for your case.
Where do I enter my TIN?
Enter your TIN in the From tax ID field. Add the client's TIN when required for your transaction type.
Can I invoice without VAT?
Yes. Non-VAT taxpayers or exempt supplies can use a no-VAT layout or clear tax lines — confirm BIR rules for your registration.
Should I put GCash or bank details on the PDF?
Yes for most domestic PHP bills. Add bank account name/number and/or GCash (or Maya) details, and ask the client to use your invoice number as the payment reference.
Do you have PHP estimates and quotes?
Yes. Open Estimates or Quotes under /ph, then convert to an invoice when work is done.
Does this create official BIR e-invoices?
No. You create an editable PDF for clients. Official e-invoicing and filings use BIR-approved systems.
What is the difference between an invoice and a quote?
An invoice requests payment; a quote is a formal price proposal before work. Use our free estimate generator or quote generator for proposals, then bill here when approved.
